We design open spaces that serve as oases within cityscapes.

Well-designed parks and public use areas play an important role in creating an identity and a sense of place within cities and communities.

The importance of parks, and their value in terms of recreation and civic functions, guides our focus and commitment during the design of these very unique public spaces.

The planning and development standards that we use, direct the physical, cultural, and social functions of each park-site's appearance and utilization, creating public use areas which are safe, relaxing, and attractive venues for events and social activities.

Park design and recreation planning mandate a thorough analysis of the proposed site's physical and cultural attributes, an understanding of site-use and facility load, budgets, and knowledge of the physical and psychological needs of those who will be using the park. Focus on health and safety concerns and use of appropriate construction products and sustainable materials are vital to the park's longevity.

Nature is the source of all true knowledge... she has no effect without cause, no invention without necessity."     ...Leonardo da Vinci, Genius

Because people enjoy beautiful urban spaces and public parks, it is important that the design process balance the needs and demands of the community with existing natural features and elements of the site's built environment. We achieve this balance by concentrating on project sustainability, cultural and environmental compatibility, construction footprint, and optimum criteria for the client's program.

The proven design principles of contrast, balance, flow, harmony, rhythm, and movement are utilized in our planning phase to create open spaces that offer users opportunity to relax as they experience the activities and features offered by parks and other recreation facilities.
